Ardanaiseig has held several very successful weddings ranging in size from simply the bride and groom (with staff acting as witnesses) to a party of approximately 70 people. Each wedding is unique and tailored to the couples' needs and wishes.

ACCOMMODATION
If you take over the entire hotel, we can accommodate approximately 32 adults with the possibility of three or four extra beds giving a total of 36 people. In addition, the nearby village of Kilchrenan has excellent self catering cottages and Bed & Breakfast accommodation for "overflow guests".

ROOM RATES
Should the wedding take place during the summer months, we are unable to offer discounted room rates as the hotel runs at a very high occupancy level during this period with many overseas guests reserving accommodation a year in advance.

APRIL & MAY – SEPTEMBER & OCTOBER:
We reduce our rates in the winter months and reserving the whole hotel represents extremely good value, should the wedding take place during this period.

THE WEDDING CEREMONY
We are licensed to hold the marriage ceremony in the hotel itself, in the grounds of the hotel, in our lochside amphitheatre or on our island on Loch Awe. Following recent changes in the law it is now possible to choose whether you wish to be married here by Margaret Miller, Minister in Kilchrenan for the Church of Scotland (tel. 01866 822 204) or by a member of the Registrar's Office from Oban (tel. 01631 562 137).

Our local village church at Kilchrenan is a beautiful building located on a hillside with wonderful views and is only four miles from the hotel. Another popular church is St Conan's Kirk - a magnificent church on the shores of Loch Awe.

THE WEDDING LUNCHEON OR DINNER
The maximum number of guests we can cater for is 42 people in the restaurant and 20 people in the library giving a total of 62 guests. However, a buffet can be arranged for a larger wedding party.

OTHER INFORMATION
We can recommend a local florist, photographer, Highland Piper, Ceilidh Band, arrange for the guests to arrive by steamboat and provide assistance as far as possible to ensure the success of the wedding.
