Gardens
Many of our guests spend several days exploring the stunning lochside grounds at Ardanaiseig - with its dense woodland, flamboyant rhododendrons and secret walled garden. Nearby, along the east shore of Loch Awe, Eredine wood offers a choice of magical woodland and lochside trails for walkers, cyclists and horse-riders. But if thats not quite enough, simply take your pick of twenty official 'Glorious Gardens of Argyll'.

Varying in size, style and maturity, the gardens, which date from the 13th to 20th century, can be found across mainland Argyll and on the islands of Bute, Colonsay, Gigha, Jura, Mull and Seil. The gardens each offer something slightly different, from breathtaking rhododendrons and fragrant magnolias to some of the tallest trees in Britain. See www.gardens-of-argyll.co.uk for details.
Ardanaiseig works with Lord Andrew Gray of Tailored Tours to offer luxury chauffeured guided tours of your choice of Glorious Gardens. A sample itinerary can be found here.
