Gardens

Many of our guests spend several days exploring the stunning lochside grounds at Ardanaiseig - with its dense woodland, flamboyant rhododendrons and secret walled garden. Nearby, along the east shore of Loch Awe, Eredine wood offers a choice of magical woodland and lochside trails for walkers, cyclists and horse-riders. But if thats not quite enough, simply take your pick of twenty official 'Glorious Gardens of Argyll'.

Varying in size, style and maturity, the gardens, which date from the 13^th to 20^th century, can be found across mainland Argyll and on the islands of Bute, Colonsay, Gigha, Jura, Mull and Seil.
